More than the members of any other urban subculture, graffiti writers live the street, in a very literal way: they spend much of their time and energy getting to know it, exploiting its nooks and crannies, and generally feeling at home in it.
A writer himself, Díaz takes out to the streets he frequents the most a series of gestures, part of the mundane ritual he performs every day when arriving home: leaving his shoes outside the door, leaning his umbrella against the wall, hanging up his keys and his cap, throwing his jacket on the chair.
